Indoor Schedule 2016

The indoor season is right around the corner! We are excited to have you join us- if you are not playing basketball or wrestling please come and join us for some hard, but fun times. We will meet at the first week of December to get winter workouts going. Practice officially starts the first day back from Christmas Vacation. As always you will need 9 practices to compete. This weekend: Bear Lake/Skyview

We will be attending 2 meets again this weekend. Hopefully that way we can get everyone an event or two. The Bear Lake bus will leave the HS Friday at 11:30 a.m. There is no school so you will need to find your own ride to the school. The order of events will be as follows: field events (1:30) 3200, 100/110 hurdles, 4x200, 100, 800, 4x100, 400, 300h, 20, 1600, 4x400. The bus will leave for Skyview at 5 a.m. from the HS. The meet is at Skyview HS, in Smithfield, Utah. The meet starts at 9. Field Events: Boys Javelin, Boys shot, Boys LJ, Girls Discus, Girls HJ (morning) BoysHJ, Boys Disc, Girls LJ, Girls Shot, Girls Javelin, Girls/Boys TJ Track events (girls/boys) 3200, 100h, 110h, 100, 4x200, 1600, 4x100, 400, 300h, 800, 200, 4x800, 1600 medley, 4x400, 4x100 Thrower relay You will need to pack a lunch for Saturday and bring $ for dinner. We will stop on the way home and you can buy something.

UHSTCA MEET RESULTS/ GREEN RIVER EARLY BIRD/ UVU

We had some great marks and some great sunburns this weekend. Pre-qualifying for the state meet were the boys 1st place 4x800 consisting of Kade, Nic, Shane, and Mitch. Also Nic and Shane in the 3200. Also, Kellen in the 400, Janice in the 100 and LJ. On her last jump of finals Janice boomed a 17-8 foot jump which won the meet and set a new school record. Congratulations Janice. UHSTCA Meet results can be found HERE. Due to weather the Green River meet has been cancelled for tomorrow. We will be limited to 35 slots for the meet this weekend. Let your coaches know if you will be in town or leaving for spring break. we will take all we can. The bus will leave Friday at 4:30 pm. Bring $ for dinner and we will take care of you Saturday. We will be home late Saturday night. Keep up the good work.

Utah Distance Challenge

Information for the Utah Distance Challenge can be found at utahdistancechallenge.blogspot.com We will leave the HS at 11:45 a.m. on Friday the 13th and return home around midnight that same night.

Olympic Oval Results/Boise Schedule Events

Another great meet in the books. We had some great performances and personal best marks again on the fast track at the oval. Over 1400 athletes competed and the competition was top notch. Results are HERE. We will be taking a limited number of athletes to Boise this coming weekend. Find out today during 5th hour who will be going. The bus will leave a 8 am. on Friday and we will be back home around 10 pm on Saturday. A schedule of events can be found HERE. Contact me via facebook if you want to follow and receive photos. UHSTCA Meet- Kearns

Solid work for the first meet of the year last weekend in Ogden. We had a multitude of placers, personal bests, and had a good time doing it. This week's meet in in Kearns and the Olympic Oval. The bus will leave at 11:00 on Friday. We will be back in the valley around 10 p.m Saturday night. Meet info is HERE.

Parent Meeting/First Meet Info

Awesome to be underway again. Here is some information and links for both our 2015 parent meeting and also to our first meet on 1/23-24. We will have a parent meeting on Thursday, 1/15 @ 5 p.m. in the auditorium. We need to review rules and procedures to ensure smooth sailing for the season.
