Tentative Indoor Schedule-Indoor 2010

Here are the confirmed dates we have for indoor this year:

BYU- 1/15-16
Weber State- 1/22-1/23
Simplot Games- 2/18-20
State Indoor- 3/5-6

I am waiting for confirmation on the UHSTCA Indoor which will hopefully be held at the Olympic Oval. We will also have qualifying times for Simplot which will be shared at the parent meeting after Christmas Break.

I will get you workouts mid-December and practice officially starts on Monday 1/4/2010

Lynn Williams Invitational Track Meet

Teams: Jackson, Pinedale, Big Piney, Evanston, Kemmerer, Star Valley, Green River, Teton, Mtn View, Dubois

Time: Field events will begin at 1:00 p.m. Running events will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Entry Fees: $75.00 per school

Divisions: Girls and Boys Varsity: Unlimited entries per event: Athletes may participate in 4 events

Entry Forms: All entries must be entered through Runnercard.com and will shut down on Monday, May 4th, at 4:00 p.m. After that, no entries will be added. When you go to Runnercard.com, go to Lynn Williams Invitational

Scratch Mtg: A scratch meeting will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the press box. No adds at this time

Weigh-ins: Shot, discus, and pole vault weigh-ins will we done at the building just to the south of the grand stands. Weigh-ins will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Field Events: Triple Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, and Discus will be run “Open Pit.” Athletes will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to get their four jumps and/or throws in. No finals! Pits will close at 2:30 p.m.

Running Events: All events will be timed finals. Girls will run first followed by the boys.

Misc: -Fat timing will be used
-One-eighth spikes will be allowed
-Team camps will not be allowed on the football field. Competitors are encouraged to remain in the stadium seating
-Dressing rooms will not be available. Each team is responsible for their own valuables
-Points will be awarded for the first 6 places (10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2 – 1)
-Results will be faxed Thursday morning
-Please have your team members clean up their area at the end of the meet
-Uniform/jewelry code will be followed

Green River Invitational Tomorrow!

Sorry for the late update--Casper moved their meet to next weekend and so we will be taking everyone to Green River tomorrow. Entries are posted on the wall. Bus will leave at 8a.m. tomorrow morning. Weigh-ins are at 11 a.m. Field events start at 12 and running events at 1 p.m. Then you will have Saturday off! Grizzly Invitational-Logan this weekend!

Congrats to all the great performances this last weekend. Audrey was named athlete of the meet. Keep up the good work!


We will be attending the Grizzly Invitational in Logan this weekend. Despite our current weather it is supposed to be nice on Saturday. The bus will leave the High School and 5:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The meet will be held at Logan High in downtown Logan.
