Information for the meet this weekend. We will be leaving the HS at noon on Friday and will be home Saturday night around 9 p.m. Parents, they will charge you $4 to get into the facility and note that they are not allowing spikes or food in the building.

Parent Meeting/Utah State - This Weekend

Our first meet will be this weekend for all athletes that have in all 9 practices. The bus will leave the HS parking lot at 5:30 a.m. We will compete at the Nelson Fieldhouse in Logan (801 E. 700 N). Registration will take place at 8 a.m., the first event will be at 9 a.m. We anticipate being back at the HS around 8 p.m.

We will also have a parent meeting 1/12 at 5:30 p.m. in the SVHS Choir Room to go over goals and expectations for this season.

To get in our 9 practices before competing we will be practicing Friday at 8 a.m. Athletes can ride the route bus to the HS and there will be an activity bus that will leave the High School at 10:15 a.m. We will practice, check out uniforms, and discuss details about the meet on Saturday.

Practice 12/12-12/15 and 12/19/21

We will be holding VOLUNTARY practices 3-4 times per week until the Christmas Break to jump start your training and metabolism before you eat your body weight in fudge this holiday season. Note: These are voluntary. I will meet with the distance runners on Monday and Wednesday, and the Sprinters Tuesday and Thursday.

OFFICIALLY PRACTICE BEGINS THE DAY WE RETURN FROM CHRISTMAS BREAK. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK IN SO YOU CAN HAVE ENOUGH PRACTICES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST MEET @ USU

Utah State and BYU will also be holding some camps during the holidays so if you'd like more information come and see me.

There is also a holiday track clinic at BYU in Provo the 30th, 31st and the USU track clinics will be 1/6,7. If you are interested see Coach Draney for details. We will be meeting in a couple of weeks to get numbers and outline season goals and expectations.
