State Track Information

Congratulations to the individual/team champions and placers from the regional track meet last weekend in Lander. It was an honor to be seen with you and watch you compete at such high levels. Regional Track Meet @ Lander this weekend

Congratulations on all the pre qualifying marks, personal bests and medals won at a HIGHLY competitive meet @ BYU. Reno won the decathlon, Sam made the podium in the shot, and Ivy made the podium in the 400m. Now we get down to the nitty-gritty part of our season. This is what we have been working for. Just remember that what we do now "echos in eternity" and we will only be successful if we "stick together." Regional meet information is HERE.

Dave Draney Invitational/Davis Invitational

We have two more meets this week. Tomorrow will be the Dave Draney Invitational @ SVHS. Field events begin @ 1:00 and running events @ 1:30. Below are the order of events. 1:00-2:30 Boys TJ Girls LJ Boys Shot Girls Discus 2:30-4:00 Girls TJ Boys LJ Girls Shot Boys Discus 1:30 4x800 100H/110H 100 1600 4x100 Weight Relay 400 300H 800 200 3200 4x400 Saturday we will be taking invited individuals to Davis. Bus will leave @ 5 a.m. We will know later today who has qualified for this meet. Additional info for the meet can be found here.

Rock Springs Saturday

Departure 5 a.m. Saturday Morning. The meet starts at 9 a.m. We will return Saturday evening. Pack a lunch and bring some $ for dinner.

State Indoor

Congratulations to all the great performances at the Simplot Games last weekend. A new team record of 6 athletes in 7 finals was fun to watch. We are now moving on to the most important indoor meet of the season. State @ Gillette. The bus will leave @ 8:15 on Thursday and we will be back in the valley @ dark o' thirty Saturday night/Sunday morning. For a complete schedule of events visit the WHSAA website (www.whsaa.org)

Simplot Games- Thursday, Friday, Saturday

This weekend a select number of Star Valley Athletes will be attending the Simplot Games to compete with the best in North America and beyond. Order of events can be found at simplotgames.com. Athletes will miss 4th period on Thursday so plan ahead and get ready to rumble!
