Practice 12/12-12/15 and 12/19/21

We will be holding VOLUNTARY practices 3-4 times per week until the Christmas Break to jump start your training and metabolism before you eat your body weight in fudge this holiday season. Note: These are voluntary. I will meet with the distance runners on Monday and Wednesday, and the Sprinters Tuesday and Thursday.

OFFICIALLY PRACTICE BEGINS THE DAY WE RETURN FROM CHRISTMAS BREAK. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK IN SO YOU CAN HAVE ENOUGH PRACTICES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST MEET @ USU

Utah State and BYU will also be holding some camps during the holidays so if you'd like more information come and see me.

There is also a holiday track clinic at BYU in Provo the 30th, 31st and the USU track clinics will be 1/6,7. If you are interested see Coach Draney for details. We will be meeting in a couple of weeks to get numbers and outline season goals and expectations.

Crazy Week...

We have had a crazy week here. Between 4 meets, SBO elections, and every distraction under the sun...we're still standing. We're proud of the commitment and competitiveness that many of you have shown us despite all that is going on. Here are some links and things to help you plan the rest of the weekend. We have a group in Provo for the BYU meet. The schedule of events can be found HERE. Those competing will leave today after school and be back Saturday afternoon. Those of you that are going to Soda Springs tomorrow will leave at 11 a.m. and be home around 8 or 9 p.m. Field events start at 1 p.m. and track events @ 2:00.

Tiger-Grizz Results/Dave Draney Invitational

Results from the Marathon that is known as Tiger-Grizz can be found here.

The Annual Dave Draney Invitational will be held tomorrow at Star Valley High School. Field Events will start at 1 p.m. and Track Events at 1:30. We are still looking for a little help running some of the events. If you are interested, let Coach Draney or the Main Office know.

Congratulations to Brendon Welker, David Livingston, and Hailey Ricks for qualifying for the Wyoming Classic this weekend in Casper!

Braves 2nd, Lady Braves 4th @ Green River

Yesterday we were able to enjoy some competition and a little sunshine. The Braves swept the relays with wins in the 4x100, 4x800, and 4x400, with solid performances at nearly every event. The Lady Braves came in 4th, albeit with a smaller team due to music festival.

We are looking to be at full force this Saturday when we leave for Rock Springs @ 5:30 a.m. from the High School. The meet will start @ 9 a.m.
